« New York et Brooklyn, avec les quais de Jersey City et Hoboken » est une chromolithographie à visée populaire et spectaculaire de 1877. With little concern for scale, it highlights the main sites of Manhattan (Broadway, Battery Park, Central Park) and its modern monuments (the first skyscrapers, Brooklyn Bridge), but above all the extraordinary maritime and commercial activity on the Hudson estuary and New York Bayatthe end of the 19th century.
