Christopher Taylor est né en 1958 à Skegness en Angleterre. Il vit près de Montpellier. Après avoir étudié la zoologie à l'Université de Sheffield, il fut chercheur associé à l'Université de Hull. Depuis 1986, il se consacre à la photographie. Parmi ses expositions récentes: Photofestival Noorderlicht (Groningen, Pays-Bas, 2001); Palais de Tau (Reims, 2003); Festival international de la Photographie de Pingyao (Chine, 2003).

En 2001, Le Point du Jour Éditeur a publié une série extraite de son travail en Islande, sous le titre À contrecoeur, avec un texte de Nicolas Kieffer.

Christopher Taylor was born in 1958 in Skegness in England. He now lives near Montpellier. After studying zoology at Sheffield University, he did research at the University of Hull.

Since 1986 he has devoted himself to photography. The following are among his recent exhibitions: Noorderlicht Photofestival (Groningen, Netherlands, 2001); Palais du Tau (Reims, 2003); Pingyao International Festival of Photography (China, 2003), In 2001, Le Point du Jour Éditeur produced a series drawn from his work in Iceland under the title À contrecoeur, accompanied by a text by Nicolas Kieffer.
